Original oil painting on canvas showing tiger in frame simulating cage, signed lower right A. Braudesol, 1841. (Some of the letters are illegible). Approx. 31” by 41” (artwork only). The frame measures 38” by 49”. Thepainting shows some small losses of paint and is flaking slightly. Canvas is good, frame is good with some slight damage. In need of minor conservation. This style was popular in gambling halls throughout the West but wereusually prints and not original paintings. From the Robert Petersen Collection. Est: $1,500- $3,000
