This is an example of an early pre-WWII German "G" date Luger pistol, that was manufactured by the Mauser factory. These "G" Lugers were all produced during the time of the early rearmament by the Nazi with the "G" date being the secret code for 1935. The top of the chamber has the single "G" date with the "S/42" Mauser code on the front toggle. These Lugers have a fixed front and rear sight and it's fitted with a blue "fxo" marked WWII magazine with an aluminum base that is marked "8892/u".
