For bidding in this lot is a Navajo Native American Indian, ancient petrified scrimshaw mammoth I.V.O.R.Y cuff, hand crafted of tooled sterling silver, and eight sleeping beauty turquoise nuggets. The face of the bracelet shows the hand painted eagle dancer Kachina, with exceptional detail. The scrimshaw I.V.O.R.Y is flanked on all sides with the nuggets of turquoise, which are all spaced with traditional Navajo feather motifs. The face of the bracelet is mounted to a two-bar cuff, with gorgeous floral etchings. The back of the cuff is stamped "Sterling", indicating its .925% silver purity. The cuff is in good condition overall, displaying a nice silver patina. The Mammoth I.V.O.R.Y tusk displays some slight play in its setting. The cuff measures 2 1/2" wide, and 2" tall. The inside circumference of the bracelet equals approximately 7".
