You are bidding on a Navajo Native American Indian concho pendant necklace. The concho is marked "Sterling" and features a rope framed, bezel-set oval azurite stone in the center, surrounded by eight slightly smaller oval stones. The smaller stones, two each, are jet, turquoise, red coral, and malachite. The concho pendant appears to have originally been a brooch, as it still has a pin and clasp. The chain is threaded through a loop/ hook, also on the back of the concho. It could easily be removed from the chain and worn as a brooch instead, if desired. The chain, believed to be silver but not tested, is marked "fas" and "made in Italy". The pendant is 1.5" in diameter and the chain is 36" end to end. The piece is in good overall condition. The azurite does have a small chip at the top, as photographed.
