Nasir al Din Khusru Shah (AH 720, 1320 AD), Gold Tanka, 11.33g, Qila Deogir (off flan) Mint (G&G D291). About Extremely Fine, Extremely Rare. Khusru was a slave from Gujarat, the sultan of Delhi Qutb al-Din Mubarak elevated Khusru to a high position. But Khusru in turn had the sultan assassinated where upon he ascended the throne of Delhi with the title Nasir al-Din Khusru Shah. His usurpation, however, did not last long and before the year was out he too was captured in battle and executed. His gold and silver coins are all very rare.
