This is a Montana prostitution ephemera and token collection from circa 1888. The collection consists of complaints filed against a known prostitute, Clara Winters, and her john, Isaac Morehouse. There is a cabinet card photograph of prostitute and a brothel token marked "The Castle / L. Lorraine / Kalispell, Mont. 40¢". Lottie Lorraine was a madam who was known to run a brothel in Kalispell in the early 1900's. Also included are two transcripts of coroner inquisitions concerning the suicides of two prostitutes. The Montana prostitution collection is in good condition. The photograph measures 2" x 3.5".
