Manuscript DS signed by William Winchester, a minuteman from Southborough, Massachusetts, one page, 7.5 x 12, February 21, 1763. Legal document from Worcester/Grafton pertaining to assessments being sold in a public venue lot of land. William Winchester was noted as being one of the ‘minutemen’ who fought at Battle of Concord and Lexington. ‘Minutemen’ was the term given to members of the militia of the American colonies, who would be ready to fight at a minute’s notice. Archivally framed with a Revolutionary War portrait and plaque to an overall size of 25.5 x 21. In very good to fine condition.
