Manufactured from 1876 to 1891. German silver blade front and adjustable buckhorn rear sights with tang peep sight. The top barrel flat is stamped "32 LONG" at the breech. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the one line Marlin address above the two line patent dates marking. Blue barrel with the remaining surfaces casehardened. The matching serial number is stamped on the bottom barrel flat under the forearm and underside of the receiver ahead of the lever. Mounted on a smooth straight grip stock and forearm with a crescent buttplate.

Condition: Very fine. The barrel retains 90% original blue finish thinning to a brown with minor scratches (mostly on the underside). The remaining metal surfaces retain 40% original case colors with the balance a smooth dark patina. There is some minor pitting on the buttplate. The wood is fine with a couple deep pressure dents and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
