May twenty-second was one of the grandest days of our lives!"; and a first edition of A White House Diary by Lady Bird Johnson, hardcover with dust jacket, signed and inscribed on a bookplate affixed to the first free end page in black felt tip, "To Jayne and Charles Huey—I hope you will enjoy sharing these years—Lady Bird Johnson."
