(Paramount, 1969) Pen & ink and watercolor on special screen-printed period-style newsprint 1-ply illustration paper, 16 x 22” laid onto 18 x 24” 4-ply mat, which is set into a larger display mat. The subject is two variations of gambling attire for actor Harve Presnell as “Rotten Luck Willie”. Executed by costume and production designer John Truscott, who performed these tasks on only one other film, Camelot, for which he won the Academy Award in both categories. An uncommonly detailed and remarkable presentation for a costume sketch, and in Very Fine to Near Mint condition.
