Multi-sport athlete (1921–2001) who was a 1948 Olympic hockey medalist as well as a 1954 Wimbledon champion. Two items: one glossy 6.25 x 4.25 photo of Drobny during a tennis match, signed in green ink “With best wishes, J. Drobny”; and an ALS signed “J. Drobny,” one page, 8 x 6.5, no date, expressing hope that a fan gets well soon. In fine condition, with scattered creases, impressions and irregularly trimmed edges to the photo.
