Pair of ALSs by the father-and-son astronomers: an ALS signed "James Glaisher," three pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7.25, no date, in part: "I am much obliged for the observations on Natural History, which you have so kindly collected & sent to me. I shall be glad indeed if you will discuss your whole series of observations"; and an ALS signed "J. W. L. Glaisher," two pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.25 x 7, January 20, 1880, in part: "I think it would be best if you would kindly send it direct to the printers, telling them to set it up & send proof to you." In overall fine condition.
