Iron Man (2008) - This piece is from the Tokomak miniature that served as the background for the climactic battle between Iron Man and Warmonger. The Tokomak was created in the film by Tony Stark's father, Howard in the 1960's. This detail is the Liquid Oxygen Condenser that was mounted at the bottom of the miniature set. This cast resin and aluminum component was photographed motion control for the scenes leading up to the character Warmonger crashing through it. Screen used miniature that had key components rapid prototyped. 96" long x 48" tall. 1:8 scale.
