Offered for sale is a Like New example of a Interarms Virginian Dragoon .44 Magnum Stainless Revolver. The Revolver features a 8 1/2" barrel, leather holster, walnut grips, pachmayr grips, original box, manuals, stainless finish, six shot cylinder, adjustable rear sight, and extractor. Interarms of Alexandria, VA was established by Sam Cummings around 1954/1955. Originally called Interarmco (International Armaments Corporation), they quickly became the largest privately owned firearms distributor in the world. The company had a 100,000 square foot warehouse in Northern Virginia. It was at this location that Interarms distributed dozens of brands to include Rossi, Walther, Mauser, Astra, and Whitworth. Eventually, the company was dissolved when Sam Cummings passed away in 1998 (much of the distribution was absorbed by Legacy Sport International). The revolver is marked "Interarms Alexandria, Virginia, U.S.A. Virginian Dragoon Cal. 44 Magnum Yorktown 1781-1981 Pat. No. 3,803,741 Date Apr. 16, 1974." This revolver is in like new condition with little wear, with mostly handling wear. The front sight looks to have been set slightly of center. This is a Modern Firearm.
