The lot features a unique hand carved Zuni Native American Indian Kachina doll said to be dating to circa 1900 to late 1800’s. The piece appears to have been semi-professionally restored in recent years. The kachina shows a solid cottonwood construction with the original polychrome pigment mineral painted design. The Kachina shows a triangular geometric eyes and is adorned in its presentation with a dance outfit with impressive half dome crown. The feet are semi-circular carved. The hands are bent in and have rounded hands and a full skirt. The piece shows fine painting and overall museum quality condition. Provenance: From a large American Indian & Cowboy collection in Billings, Montana. The lot features The kachina measures 5.25" x 10".
