Herbert Hoover: Signed American Individualism with a Hoover TLS Pasted-In. (Garden City, New York: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1923), second edition, 72 pages, dark blue cloth with gilt lettering on the spine and front board, 12mo (4.75" x 7.25"), no dust jacket. Signed "Herbert Hoover" on the front free endpaper. A May 21, 1926 TLS signed "Herbert Hoover" has been folded and partially pasted-in to rear free endpaper. The letter is a simple thank-you note from Hoover to a Mr. Allen Sinsheimer of Chicago. The book is in about very good condition, with mild rubbing, lightly bumped corners, and minor wear to the spine. The gilt in the spine titles has almost completely worn away. The interior text is largely free of flaws, and the rear hinge is starting. The book comes housed in a custom blue cloth solander box with a leather title plate affixed to the spine.

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
