Handwritten 3 page letter from Josephine Earp1860-1944 wife to Wyatt Earp to Mrs. (Merrit) Beeson of Dodge City Kansas dated Feb. 17 1943. Interesting letter discussing her poor health, weather and if Miss Masterson had been in contact with the picture people about Mr. Bat's movie. Mrs. Beeson was sife to Merrit, son of Chalkey. Chalk owned the legendary Long Branch Saloon, and was close friends to Bat Masterson, the Earp's and Luke Short the manager of the Dodge City Cowboyand, his collection of Dodge City artifacts later displayed in the Beeson family Museum then purchased by the Boot Hill Museum.
