H. Pieper Revolving Carbine
Manufactured in Belgium for sale to the Mexican government in the late 1890s. Blade front and ladder rear sights, with the upper tang marked "H. PIEPER Bte LIEGE", the underside of the frame marked "G.M. No *91*" and the right side of the frame is stamped with two star/F proofs. The cylinder is Liege proofed, and is pushed forward against the breech of the barrel when the hammer is cocked. Matching serial number on the frame and crane. Mounted with a straight grip stock with full length finger groove forearm, sling barrel band, sling swivels and iron buttplate with storage compartment.
