Gregory Peck “Cleve Van Valen” grey period suit and vest from How the West Was Won. (MGM, 1962) Grey double-breasted two piece period suit with greyish-blue double-breasted silk vest worn by Gregory Peck as “Cleve Van Valen” aboard the paddle steamer when he reunites with Debbie Reynolds “Lilith Prescott.” All pieces with internal MGM Studios labels handwritten “G. Peck [prod #] 1777 [job #] 689” and pants additionally handwritten inside the waistband, “G. Peck.” Faint dime-sized stain on the back of the coat’s right sleeve; otherwise, excellent screen-worn condition.
