The Royal Coach was designed as a powder jar by A.E. Sierad, patent filed Nov 1930, and the production rights were assigned to the George W. Button Corp. Shown on page 47 of Whitmyer - Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years. Features an unusual brown tinge to the Green satin glass and sports a black glass lid. The coach measures 7 inches long x 6 inches tall to the top of the crown. This fabulous Royal Coach powder jar or puff box, has a couple of small shallow flakes off the body and a few small connected chips on one corner of the inside rim of the lid [see photos, this minimal damage has only minor, if any, effect on its overall appearance - otherwise this green satin Depression glass Royal Coach vanity jar is in excellent condition for its age.
