Scarce wet plate, albumen 2.5 x 4 carte-de-visite photo. Bust view in uniform with rank of brigadier general. Backmark: Cadwallader & Tappen's Gallery of Art, Front St., over the Bank, Marietta, Ohio. Light toning, surface marks, one of which lightly grazes the facial area, and a pencil notation on the reverse, otherwise fine condition.
