Fully operational model 1883 miniature Gatling gun, .22 caliber, rimfire. Beautifully hand-crafted, probably by Paul J. Kuhni and Karl Furr, refer The Book of Colt Firearms page 531, Illustration E. The gun is serial numbered “89”. Beautifully crafted with hand-engraved Gatling Gun, Colt markings, etc. Fancy carriage. The bottom of the gun is not signed as generally was the rule on Furr guns. Possibly an earlier workor joint effort with Kuhni. In any case, one of the finest miniature Gatling guns we have ever had the pleasure to offer for auction.
