American college football coach (1899–1982) who is best known as 'the father of two-platoon football,' a system developed while serving as head coach at the University of Michigan from 1938 to 1947; his teams won national titles in 1933, 1935, and 1947. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Fritz Crisler in a handsome half-length pose, signed in fountain pen by the University of Michigan football coach.
