1) WWII embroidered cloth unit patch, depicting six birds and two swords on a shield, with "SURGUM" in a banner underneath 2) Italian theater made painted leather patch, "BEARD'S BUSTARDS/BOB" with a bird carrying a large bomb. Beards Bustards was the crew for a B-24 bomber and Bob was one of the crew. 3) Leather backed embroidered felt patch, showing five stars over a caricature of an Arab man saluting. This is the patch of the 30th Recon Squadron, 5th Air Force, WWII. 4) Painted leather pouch, featuring Bugs Bunny pulling a shade on the Japanese war flag. Believed to be for another bomber squadron. 5) WWII 867th Bomber Squadron embroidered felt patch, featuring a bomb dressed as a fancy gentleman standing on a cloud, with an unknown winged animal in the background. The 867th flew B-24s, 5th Air Force, Phillipines, Okiniawa.
