30 inch long overall, tiger stripe walnut construction with the steel prod measuring 23 inch across when strung. The prod secured with yellow and gold painted hemp rope, with cord accent across the front, red fur tufts at the center, and a "burning sunwheel" stamp on the rear. The bowstring is 44 inch thick twisted sinew, with reinforced center and loops. Equipped with a cocking hook, folding adjustable rear sight and a double set trigger. Scroll accented bone inserts, with the bolt channel marked "2", "R/ 2" stamped on the comb, diamond-pattern inserts around the screws, bone borders, and an eagle design on the cheekpiece. Date of manufacture is unknown, but the construction and style of decoration suggest central Europe, 15th century or later.
