Fixed brass bead front sight and a dovetailed notch rear sight, with a sighting groove at the rear, a series of triangular and circular cuts ahead of a starfield ahead of the rear sight, and a set of unidentified proofs on the upper right and left flats of the breech. A small spiral accent is present behind the wheel on the otherwise unmarked lock, with a scene of a bird among flowers engraved on the brass wheel cover, scroll engraved hammer spring, spring loaded pan cover and two small brass decorative figures on and around the hammer, depicting a pair of bat-like creatures. Straight wire trigger, with a lightly engraved finger rest trigger guard. Full length straight grip stock, with extensive carved bone pattern inlays, showing scale patterns on the forearm tip, ramrod port and ramrod head, alternating scroll decorated diamonds and floral and shell pattern discs down the sides of the forearm, additional floral and shell discs around the lock, scrollwork and a fruit layout on the patch box, and a large semi-rectangular panel on the raised cheekpiece, with scale pattern borders around a "crown/ CA" royal cypher.

Condition: Very good. A mixed gray patina is present on the steel, with a few dings on the muzzle, areas of brown patina and mild spotting. A few mild cracks and chips (some mended, some absent) are visible on the stock, which is missing 3 escutcheon pins. The bone sections are fine, with exception of an absent section on the comb and a mended chip on the patch box. Buttplate is loose. Mechanically untested.
