Elizabeth Lochrie (1890-1981). Grandma's Boy. 30" x 24" oil on board. Signed upper right: E. Lochrie, 1962. (est. $8,000-11,000). Attached verso: Grandma's Boy - Old Maud Jack, a Medicine Woman of the Bannock tribe of Indians, proudly carried her little grandson, Tendoy Blue, all around the camp during the Sun Dance gathering held near Fort Hall, Idaho. She would only agree to pose when I made her understand that Tendoy's picture would be shown to all Americans. Exhibited: Montana Historical Society for several years.
