Copper Great Cash- Treble Cash, 1.69g, Obv: Balemark in circle, Rev: Teague legend "Sri Ranga" in two lines (Prid# 88). Extremely fine, extremely rare./nlMajor F. Pridmore given following details about Great Cash but he hasn’t illustration of the coin. "A GREAT CASH was authorized 9th September 1678. Proclaimed current in November as a TREBLE CASH at the rate of 42 to the fanam. A later resolution of November 1678 ordered the coinage to continue but now rated the coin as a DOUBLE CASH. The weight and fanam exchange rate remained the same as approved in September. Demonetized 16th February 1680".
