For bidding in this lot is an early Victorian, cast iron, hanging chandelier, crafted between 1880 through 1890. The chandelier originates from the Voss Inn in Bozeman, Montana - Which was built in 1883. The chandelier is comprised of four angular sconces, attached in the middle to an adjustable bar. Each sconce shows exceptionally ornate detail in craftsmanship, and are finished with gorgeous etched glass globes. The chandelier is finished in a gold tone filigree, and boasts copper accents. The central bar of the chandelier is sleeved for adjustment, and displays an incredible finial on the bottom. Pivot the adjustable rod, and simply lift or lower the chandelier to light the kerosene wicks. The lamp has been modified to accept standard light bulbs, but could easily be modified back to kerosene. Overall, the lamp shows very good condition.
