This lot features four machetes of various types. The first is a machete marked "Legitimus-Collins & Co". It has a black plastic handle and the blade was painted at some point in the past with much of the paint worn off. Collins made very good tools and this is of fine quality. The second machete is a double edged machete stamped on the blade with "Machete Del Sol" with a pictogram logo. The handle is made of wood and rather narrow. The third machete is of unknown make with a wooden pistol handle and brass collar and an age blackened blade in the Filipino bolo style. The blade has been hand stamped with the word "Philippines" on one side. The last machete is a no. 8 machete made in England, probably Birmingham. The handle is wood and the blade has three lines finished in black on it along with the stamping "Made in England-No. 8" and a lion hallmark. None of the machetes come with sheaths. The largest item measures 27"L x 2.25"W.
