ENFIELD 1917 Eddystone, #68153, 30/06 cal., 26" barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock. Rifle is in very good condition, retaining 90-95% military finish. Finish shows minor discoloration in several areas, and a darkstreak across the top of the action approximately 1/4" in diameter and 1.25" long. Stock is very good, showing the usual mars, chips and dings associated with a military surplus rifle, and what appears tobe "ALTON" crudely scratched into the right side of the stock in approximately 1" letters. The stock appears to have been lightly sanded and re-oiled, there are no visible cartouches or proof marks, with theexception of a small "3E" and "73" just behind the trigger guard. There is light rust on the front and rear sights and bolt handle, the bore is very good, action is good. Est. $300-600.
