This is a Number 32 folding knife handcrafted by Ron Lake. Selling his first knife in 1966, Ron Lake has become one of the most sought after knifemakers in the world today, with several of his knives included in the collections of the Smithsonian Institution, the National Metal Museum, the National Knife Museum and the Randall Knife Museum. Lake is the inventor of the modern interframe and his folders have his patented tail lock release tab. He co-authored the book How To Make Folding Knives in 1988. This Lake folding knife has a 4 inch blade marked "LAKE" and "32". Brass finger groove frame featuring nicely figured walnut inlays with a single brass rivet.
