David Cook has been dealing in historic American Indian art and fine American paintings for thirty years. As a member of the prestigious Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA) and the Antique Tribal Art Dealers Association (ATADA), his galleries are held to the highest standard of quality and ethics.

The staff has over fifty years of combined experience in buying, selling, and appraising fine art. David has a keen sense of the current art market and travels to New York every fall and spring to attend the auctions of the major houses.

David has conducted appraisals for many private collections as well as major institutions including the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and the Buffalo Bill Historical Center

David Cook Fine American Art specializes in historic American Indian Art from all regions with a special emphasis on Plains bead work, Northwest Coast objects and Classic period blankets and pottery from the southwest.

David Cook Fine Art showcases American regional art from the 19th and early 20th centuries especially Rocky Mountain and early Colorado art; work from the Santa Fe and Taos schools; California plein-air and impressionism; and other early western American subject matter.
