DWM 1917 Dated Artillery Luger with Holster Stock and Drum Magazine
Dated 1917 on the chamber, with the "DWM" monogram on the toggle. Fitted with blade front and tangent rear sights, the latter numbered to match the gun. The right side of the chamber has a set of three "crown/ gothic letter" proofs and the Imperial Eagle firing proof, which is repeated on the barrel and breechblock. Matching numbers on the latch, side plate, trigger, hold open, safety components, toggle links, breechblock and firing pin. Proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" marked upper safety position and extractor, nickel plated magazine with wood base and checkered grips. Included with the pistol is a second model snail drum magazine numbered "300226", black leather holster, takedown tool, cleaning rod and a wood board stock with leather straps, numbered to another pistol.

Condition: Excellent, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina on the extension, a small amount of gray patina on the gripstraps and high edges, and some minor handling marks and spotting overall. Grips are excellent, with a few minor dents on the otherwise sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster and straps are fair, with tears, lost stitching and cracks. Stock is very good, with pressure dents and scratches. The snail drum is very fine with 75% of the black finish and a very strong spring.
