This toupée was made for Frank Sinatra by his friend Joseph Paris, who, beginning with the film The First Deadly Sin, designed his custom hairpieces. Intricately constructed from real human hair over a delicate mesh structure, this custom hairpiece was worn by Sinatra during performances in the 1980s. One of the highest paid hairdressers in the world, Joseph Paris made hairpieces for King Hassan II, Jacqueline Smith, Lionel Hampton and Burt Reynolds as well as working on films and television including It Could Happen To You, Riding in Cars with Boys, Don’t Say a Word and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. It remains in excellent condition. Includes a letter of authenticity from Joseph Paris.
