Consignor notes state that the engraving was done by Joseph of Wyoming and the custom gun work was done by John Leontti of Cody, Wyoming. The barrel is a tapered octagon with a ramped blade front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The only marking is "218 Bee" on the top flat behind the rear sight. The muzzle and breech ends have a gold inlaid thin band and the breech end also has a simple scroll design. The action has fine scroll designs with a scene of two squirrels on a tree branch on the left side and three rabbits in a wooded scene on the right side. Both scenes are bordered with a gold inlaid band. The sides and bottom of the trigger guard/lever, and sides of the breechblock have scroll designs. Set trigger and mounted with as nicely figured checkered semi Schnabel forearm with ebony forend and straight grip stock with a casehardened crescent buttplate with floral scroll engraving on the tang.
