Connecticut Arms Bulldog Single Shot Pistol
Produced from 1866 to the late 1880s, with a pivoting breechblock for loading. Top barrel flat is marked "CONNECTICUT ARMS & MANF'G CO NAUBUC CONN", the top of the breechblock is marked "PATENTED OCT. 25" and the serial number is marked on the frame under the grips and on the left grip panel. Casehardened frame, hammer, breechblock and trigger, blue barrel and brown checkered grips.

Very fine, with 85% of the bright original blue finish, showing bright edge wear, some dents on the sides, scattered spotting and light handling marks. A tiny chip is visible on top of the hammer. Bright original color is visible on the frame and breechblock, with areas of silver patina. Grips are excellent, with a tiny chip on the left side and minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
