Colt Single Action Army revolver, Buffalo Bill special edition, one of only 250 produced. .44-40 caliber, 7-1/2” barrel, finely panel scene engraved by A.A. White, silver and gold finish, scrimshawed ivorygrips showing buffalo bill. Serial #52BB on frame and left side of the barrel factory engraved “Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Winchester museum, one of 250”. The gun is displayed within its original case withMoroccan red-leather cover which is gold embossed with florals and information “Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Winchester Museum. 1 of 250 Colt Frontier Revolvers”. The gun and case are fine to excellent. 99%plus, no evidence of firing or use, just some slight storage, minor scratches in the case.
