Colt New Service Target factory cut-away display board frame, 7 ½” barrel, .45 Colt caliber, Serial #113408. The revolver retains approximately 90% of its original blue finish with small storage marks. The rightside is cut down for a display board with no cylinder and barrel cut-away to show rifling. Internal grip frame has a large, “E” proof. Originally from the Johnny Bassett Collection sold at auction by Little John’sNovember 9, 2003. To the consignor who notes, the pistol was made in 1916 and listed as, “Scrapped” on March 23, 1942.
