Manufactured in 1939. Standard markings and features fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 97% original blue finish with smooth thinning to a smooth brown patina on the muzzle and some minor pitting on the right side of the front sight, some edge wear and faint drag line on the cylinder. The grips are also excellent with a few minor dings and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.

B) Manufactured in 1908, the first year of production, with standard two line markings on top of barrel, with "POLICE/POSITIVE -.38 SPECIAL." marked on the left. Rampant Colt over the stylized "C" marked on the left side of the frame. Standard features and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips numbered to the gun, with "COLT" at the top and "C" around the screw.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% plus bright original high polish blue finish with some thinning on the sides of the barrel, some edge wear and a visible drag line on the cylinder. There is a small area of minor oxidation on the front, lower left edge of the frame. There is some flaking on the lower back strap and there is a smooth brown patina on the exposed metal. The grips are also excellent with minor handling wear to the crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
