Cochran turret revolver 36 cal. 7 shot revolver serial #92. Refer Flayderman 7a-019. One of the rarest of all American percussion revolvers with estimate of less than 150 made and few existing. The revolver is ingood to very good condition with a patina finish and exceptional stocks showing just minor imperfections and normal aging. Patent markings and C.B. Allen, Springfield both visible. The BBL measures 4 1/8" and is about 1/2 inch shorter than normally found. Last sold Richard K. Bourne Auction of James Elwood Jones Collection. From old N.Y. Collectors Estate. Rarer than a Walker Colt. Est.: $6,000-$12,000.
