Close-up monkey puppet from The Hunger.
(MGM, 1983) Used in the Tony Scott film starring David Bowie. Geriatrics researcher Susan Sarandon studies the affects of rapid aging using lab monkeys which unexpectedly fight amongst themselves with one killing the other and then, later, rapidly aging before the camera, dying, and decomposing.  The filmmakers used real monkeys, then switched to hand puppets and stop motion animation from David Allen Productions.  This is the close-up puppet used to film the monkey's finale movements before dying and decomposing via stop motion. Puppet measures approximately 15 in. tall.
