<td width="100%">
Elegant porcelain Chinese export vase from mid-20th century. Features over glaze hand enameled and painted decoration. Scene features men seated at a table with a geisha, another man walking away and a second geisha. The decoration around the base and top rim is in a burnt orange and black. The top decoration seems to feature stylized ruyi border and along the top of the flared part of the vase a lotus blossom motif is incorporated. Flared base, trumpet style top opening.

There is an over glaze red stamp oval Qianlong mark on the back side of the vase. On the base there is a "CHINA" export red stamp mark.

Condition: Fair. In the top ring of ruyi decoration there is a "crimp" in the porcelain surface that appears to be a manufacturing flaw as the paint is over top of it. There are no chips or breaks that I can tell, even along the top rim and base. The base has a purposeful hole drilled in the center, possibly someone was planning to make this into a lamp but didn't finish the job.

I am glad to send a close-up of the crimped area or in general provide higher resolution photos, just ask.
