The lot features a wonderful set of Central Plains Native American Indian beaded moccasins most likely owned and used by a woman. The set dates to early 20th Century. The set shows an Indian tanned buckskin hide construction with parfleche soles and excellent glass trade seed beadwork in semi-transparent, semi-transparent dark green, greasy yellow, red, sky/padre blue. The moccasins still show early tie straps still attached (which are early shoe-strings/laces). The set shows minimal bead loss and some Native repairs. The soles measure 9.25" long.
