Manufactured circa 1870. Fixed sights, with the top of the barrel marked "BALLARD'S" and the left flat marked "C. H. BALLARD & Co. / WORCESTER, MASS. / PATD. JUNE 22, 1869". Iron frame with checkered hammer and spur trigger. Matching serial number on frame and on both smooth bird head grips.

Gauge: 41 RF
Finish: blue/ nickel

Condition: Fine, with a mixed smooth gray/brown patina on the barrel, and 30% of the original plated finish on the frame, with the balance a smooth gray-brown patina. Grips are good, with pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically very good.
