Bogota, Colombia, cob 8 reales, 1662, assayer not visible (Ramos, PoRS), very rare. Restrepo-M46.28; S-B7; KM-7.1; CT-538. 22.69 grams. Solid, broad flan with part of edge lost to corrosion and some surface pitting as well, still with clear details including date to right of right-hand pillar and denomination to left of shield, low contrast. Pedigreed to the Charles Eidel collection. Recovered from: Association, sunk in 1707 off the Isles of Scilly, southwest of England
