This incredible space suit was custom-made for use by Simon Helberg as "Howard Wolowitz" in Season 5, Episode 24: The Countdown Reflection. This iconic space suit is based on the Soviet Sokol KV-2 and consists of a main suit, helmet attached to a V-shaped front zip in section of the suit, two gloves, and two booties. Three of the five patches are still attached to the suit - including the mission patch on the right side listing Massimino, Rezinov, and Wolowitz. The round blue fitting in the center of the chest has a built-in fan which still works. This particular suit screen matches exactly as the one he wears on screen. There are several variances in the sewing, loose threads, and other details that are exact matches.

The Big Bang Theory is one of the most popular current shows running and destined to be one of the top five television series in history. It's blend of comedy, science fiction, science fact and romance have placed this series in the path of people from every walk of life - an accomplishment no other series has been able to do. As special as the series is to the millions of fans, this spacesuit is as, or more important to the series and its characters. The life's work for Leonard, Sheldon and Rajesh is to have a better understanding of the universe and push the boundaries of man's knowledge; but it was Howard, a simple (according to Sheldon) engineer that achieved the honor of traveling into space. As incredible as this space suit is, it is just as incredible that you would have an opportunity to acquire an artifact from the series, much less an extremely iconic and important piece such as this. This belongs in a museum. Included with this piece is a framed poster image of Howard Wolowitz wearing this exact suit.
