Vintage color 22 x 29.25 Apple Publishing poster from the short-lived Apple Boutique, designed by the art collective The Fool, and featuring psychedelic imagery with galactic goddess holding the Earth with stem and leaf, and text to the left reading: “A is for [Apple].” Reverse bears ‘The Fool’ and Apple Publishing and Company copyright stamp. Rolled and in fine condition, with light horizontal creases. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. Consisting of Simon Posthuma, Marijke Koger, Barry Finch, and Josje Leeger, The Fool was a Dutch collective of designers, painters, and musicians that, in 1967, was given the task of designing and stocking the Apple Boutique, a shop on Baker Street in central London set up by the Beatles. The Apple Boutique was open for less than a year, from 1967 to 1968. A rare and sought-after Apple poster.
