Arrow Original Art, Comic Book #8 Page 7. From the Arrow series of comics based on the CW TV series. Arrow chapters were released digitally each Wednesday, and published later as physical three-chapter comic books. A similar series began digitally on September 1, 2014, titled Arrow: Season 2.5, but will comparatively fit seamlessly in to the show's storyline. Releases The series began with a special edition first released at San Diego Comic-Con 2012, and also released digitally on the same day. A new chapter was released each week (on the day the show aired) starting with the release of the first official chapter of the series on October 10, 2012, the day of the series premiere. Drawn by famed Spanish artist Sergio Sandoval. Sergio made his debut in the early 1990s drawing comic-books and covers for Comics Forum (Spain). Nowadays, he combines his work in comics with that of conceptual artist in the film world. He has collaborated with Guillermo del Toro on several major films: The Devil’s Backbone, Hellboy, Hellboy II: Golden Army and Pan’s Labyrinth. He has also worked for top-level international publishers on both sides of the Atlantic: Planeta DeAgostini (Thännhauser limited series), DC Comics (Deus Ex limited series, Superman: DCUO Legends, Batman: Legends of The Dark Knight digital, Uncharted limited series, Arrow digital and others), Random House Mondadori (Ranko Kameran) and Madefire.
