An Extremely rare Antique Find. The Bichara Company was establishe in 1896by Bichara Malhame( From Beirut)Who styled himself as"The Syrian Parfumeur".The Company was first located in Rouen & Dieppe.His Perfumes were Advertised as"Parfums Enivrents" "Intoxicating perfumes"Bichara had Constant Exposure in the French Press so was Able to Maintain the Luxury image throughout His Shops.Around the Turn of The Century Bichara became extremely Famous with Sarah Bernhardt as his Muse who Publicly endorsed Perfumes. Bichara Perfumes were her favorites. Clients were also Playwright Edmond Rostand who called Bichara "The Poet of Perfume"Other Notable were Gabriel Faule, Gabrielle D'annunzio and Edouard de Max.Bichara also Supplied the Egyptian Royal family and Royal Court. His finest presentation was of Parfum Ramses II in an Obelisk Shaped Bottle Which was Manufactured by the Crystalleries de SaintLouis. This Bottle is rarely found today, and if by Chance it surfaces it commands a High price fit for a Pharaoh. At a Recent Auction it sold for $10,500.The 1913 Chypre has an Estimated value between $1,500 to $4,500 if it Surfaces which is very RarelyThis Chypre Is Completely Original never used or Opened Still has its Seal Intact.Some of the Perfume Evaporated due to Age Being over 100.
